I am happy to say that Nermal now has a place to go when we move. It is SUCH a load off. When my mom told me after picking me up from work, I broke down - I’m just so relieved. It takes away so much stress. He will be going to live with an older couple who recently lost their house cat when it got out on them and was hit by a car, so he is not going to just anyone but to someone he will make genuinely happy, and that makes me happy to bursting. I have gotten so much love out of this cat in the nine years that he has been mine, and I am glad that that love will go on to help this couple recover from the tragic loss of their pet. Apparently, when their daughter (who works with my mother) showed them pictures of him, it was love at first sight, exactly how I felt when I picked him up. They are getting together everything they will need, and he will be going to them as soon as they are ready.
My baby boy has someone to love him.
I don’t have to worry any more.
What a relief.
